Arshad

Arshad Khandaker has been playing Austin BD Soccer since early 2000, and was involved in rebuilding the community’s soccer infrastructure during early 2010. He was heavily involved in inspiring new community members to join BD soccer and gained popularity while doing so. The retired army veteran is also involved in other sports activities. He has been recognized in the past by the BD community leaders for making soccer one of the popular recreational sports activities among Austin’s Bangladeshi Community. His favorite soccer teams are Mohammedan Sporting Club (Dhaka), Manchester City (UK) and Argentina national soccer team.
